Using the formula of a Sports Illustrated game, the player is free to choose from a selection of 28 fictional teams, and 90 different team members. The player can engage in the ball game in two different modes:

• Exhibitions Game - The player is able to adjust the game rules and pick the two teams for the game.
• Season Game - Sixteen games through the year are scheduled. In between games, the player can save progress.
