ARC Raiders
Description
ARC Raiders is a third-person multiplayer extraction shooter set on a post-apocalyptic Earth overrun by autonomous machines known as the ARC. Humanity has retreated underground to the city of Speranza, where a group of scavengers called Raiders venture to the surface, known as the topside, to recover valuable resources and technology.
The game combines player-versus-environment and player-versus-player elements. Each expedition gives players a limited time to explore, gather materials, and survive encounters with hostile ARC robots and rival Raiders. Defeated players lose their collected loot unless it has been stored in a secure inventory slot. Extraction points, such as elevators, metro stations, or key-locked hatches, allow players to return safely to base with their spoils.
Between raids, players can trade with merchants, craft and upgrade weapons or armor, and customize their character's abilities to prepare for future missions. The game uses proximity chat.
