Astrowarriors

Astrowarriors is a 2 - 4 player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

Each player controls a small vessel which can rotate 360 degrees, and accelerate and fire forwards. Each vessel is also armed with 8 uses of a shield that protects them from enemy fire. Each ship has limited fuel, used by acceleration and firing, and is destroyed if they run out. If a ship travels off the side of the screen, they appear again on a random edge. The goal is to shoot the opponent, and score is kept over multiple rounds. There are different terrains, placing an asteroid, sun, or black hole in the center of the screen. The sun and black hole will create gravity, constantly pulling ships in.
