Star Battles

Star Battles is a 1-player arcade game for the Commodore 64.

Played form a 1st person perspective, the player must destroy incoming alien vessels, while avoiding enemy fire and asteroids. The player has limited energy and shields, and their ship is destroyed if energy is depleted. If the player fires too quickly their ship overheats and must hold fire until cooled. There are 6 levels of difficulty, and levels are timed.
