Bandits
Description
Bandits is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.
The player controls a small space ship that can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, accelerate forwards, and also fire directly forwards. The ship can also jump to hyperspace, appearing randomly on the screen when in danger. The player tries to defend their oak trees at the bottom of the screen from large alien vessels that try to take them off the edge of the screen. Other alien vessels move about firing towards the player. Both ship types break into 4 dangerous sections when hit. When all oak trees are stolen, the alien ship type changes. These new ships rapidly fly directly towards the player in large groups. The game is over after the player has lost all lives.
