Banjax

Banjax is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

Legend has it that any bear intelligent enough to reach the Inner Sanctum of the Golden Temple shall become the Lord of Mystery. The player controls Banjax, who moves in the cardinal directions between a number of fixed screens avoiding enemies and picking up items. If Banjax is touched by an enemy he is brought back to a reincarnation point, which initially is the starting screen, but the location can be changed by the player. The type and number of enemies on a screen are randomized every time a player enters. The player starts their adventure with 5 lives.
