Boa

Boa is a 1-player arcade game for the Apple II.

The player controls a large purple boa constrictor, which attempts to hunt mice in a twisty maze. Each level starts with two mice, and if they sneak up behind the player, they will begin to nibble off his tail, leaving the snake shorter. If the mice reach the head, it's game over. If the mice run through the center portion of the level, they will become larger, but can still be eaten. On each level there is a bonus counter that ticks steadily lower, and the player received bonus points if they rapidly eat all the mice. In each level, there are green creatures which randomly appear, and can temporarily block either the snake or the mouse. After eating both mice, the player enters a new stage with a different maze and faster moving mice.
