Convoy Attack

Convoy Attack is a 1-player arcade game for the Dragon 32/64.

Game play is divided into two sections. First, the player must protect a naval convoy featuring a central aircraft carrier and outlying ships. Incoming enemy planes threaten the convoy, and if all outlying ships are destroyed, it's game over.

The player launches up to three aircraft that will continue travelling in a single direction until the player takes control to intercept a plane. The player can only control one of the three airborne craft at a time. Each plane has individual fuel.

If all enemies are destroyed, the player enters a second arcade component where they fly a plane from a top-down perspective that can turn left and right. The plane shoots forwards, and the player has three chances to destroy all enemy craft. Enemy ships, the player, and bullets scroll off the edge of the screen and appear on the other side. There are three levels of difficulty.
