3D Convoy

3D Convoy is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player controls the torpedo launcher aboard a battleship. The launcher moves left or right, and the fired torpedoes move slowly towards the horizon. Only one set of two torpedoes can be on the screen at a time. The goal is to destroy enemy vessels while avoiding incoming fire. The player starts with five lives, and can launch 30 torpedoes per life. If the player is hit by enemy fire they lose a life, but their torpedoes are replenished. More distant enemy vessels reward more points, and the player receives a 1,000-point bonus for hitting a loaded aircraft carrier.
