Deluxe Pontoon

Deluxe Pontoon is a single-player card game following the rules of the British version of Pontoon, a Blackjack variant.

In each deal, the player's aim is to receive cards totalling more in face value than the dealer's, but not exceeding 21—otherwise they are "bust" and lose. A hand worth 21 (consisting of an ace and a 10 or a face card) is a 'pontoon' and pays extra.

The player starts with £100 and can choose before each hand how much they are willing to bet, in multiple of £10. After being dealt a new hand, the player can choose to twist (hit, add an extra card), buy (double the bet) or stick (stand, play the hand if their total is 15 or higher). Any hand of five cards tops any other configuration, apart from pontoon.
