Pontoon

Pontoon is a 1-player versus computer blackjack game for the BBC Micro.

Both the player and computer start with £1,000 in cash. Each turn, the player can twist for a new card, bet up to £100 for a new card, or stick. The player can not stick under 16. The player first draws their cards, with the goal of being as close to 21 as possible without going over. The computer then draws their cards, and the closest to 21 takes the pot. If the computer and player are equal, the computer wins.
