Dumb Ways to Die: Superheroes

Dumb Ways to Die: Superheroes is a 3D runner game in the Dumb Ways to Die series. Players control bean-shaped characters dressed in superhero costumes including masks, capes, and boots. Players guide their chosen bean hero through obstacle courses against AI-controlled opponents, racing to reach the finish line first while the city backdrop alternates between day and night settings.

The gameplay features simple controls (hold to run, release to stop) with players needing to time these actions to navigate their bean across each course. The courses feature dangerous obstacles such as flame throwers, laser-equipped robots, bee hives, rotating hazards, and platform gaps. Each playable character possesses a unique superpower ability (for example, becoming fireproof) that can be activated during races to overcome specific challenges.

The game features dynamic 3D tracking that follows the action across the obstacle courses, and comic book-style visual callouts. Players can unlock additional bean characters as they progress, complete objectives for rewards, and receive bonuses from a chance slot machine feature.
