Description
Eroge! Sex and Games Make Sexy Games is a Japanese erotic visual novel, or in other words an eroge (short for erotic game), about the production of eroge. The story follows Tomoya Mochizuki, a young man who gets the opportunity to make his dream eroge when he is hired by a struggling all-female studio named Flower who are riding all of their hopes on the success of their next product. There's only one problem: the Flower staff, despite being talented in their respective disciplines, are clueless when it comes to sex, and therefore what makes a good eroge. After some (but not much) deliberation, Tomoya takes it upon himself to teach his coworkers about what sex - and eroge - is all about.
Like most visual novels, the gameplay consists of reading text atop of illustrated backgrounds and interacting with characters represented by sprites. At certain points throughout the game, these backgrounds and sprites are replaced with full illustrations (CGs) depicting special events, such as sex scenes. The player can also occasionally make decisions which may cause the story to branch off into different routes and result in different endings. Each of the four main heroines has an associated route.
The game features voice acting for all significant characters except the protagonist.
