Escape from Moonbase Alpha

Escape from Moonbase Alpha is a 1-player adventure game with puzzle and arcade elements, released for multiple systems.

Spaceman Joey has been abandoned on Moonbase Alpha by his mutinous crew. His only escape is to find The Doctor hidden somewhere in the depths of the Moonbase. The player must navigate a large maze consisting of rooms, doors, and stairways to reach level 7.

The player starts with limited strength and gold. Strength can be replenished by picking up gold, and gold is used to purchase items. If strength reaches 0, it's game over. The player also has Hulk Pills, which temporarily increase strength, allowing the player to bust through walls at the cost of 100 strength. After the pills wear off, the player's strength is cut by ⅓.

Numerous creatures wander the Moonbase. The police box randomly transports the player about the level. The demon steals gold and takes the player's strength if he touches them. Marvin the Android will bore the player to death, costing 10 strength per second. Metal Maulers and Green Grapplers will similarly harm the player. Deadly Doris can turn the player into a frog. The wizard will take one bag of gold, and either turn the player back from a frog or sell them a Hulk Pill.
