Eternal Torment: An Immortal Girl's Dance of Disgrace is a Japanese adult fantasy visual novel with a focus on sexual torture and non-consensual sex. The story begins in a world in which citizens are either slaves or slave-owners, where a slave nicknamed Snow is the property of a tentacled creature named Geg. In an attempt to increase his status, Geg sends Snow, who is a talented dancer, to perform in front of the nation's king, but during the performance, Snow accidentally touches the king and absorbs his immortality via osmosis, becoming unable to die. After escaping from her captors, Snow travels through a portal and arrives in Earth's distant past. As she wanders through the ages, encountering a variety of people and cultures, Snow must fend for herself and try to find her true purpose, even as almost everyone she meets seems to want to rape or abuse her.

The game employs a visual novel format where players progress through the story by making choices at key junctures. These choices impact the direction of the narrative, leading to multiple branching paths and various endings. There are a high amount of bad endings to be unlocked, with only one "True End". The game features Japanese voice acting for only the significant female characters, including Snow.
