Exeter

Exeter is a 1-player roleplaying game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

It has been written that Exeter was once a peaceful and prosperous land. That is all but gone now that the Dragon and its many disgusting and evil followers have come and ravaged this mighty land. Exeter is now a mere shadow of its former self. The Master Wizard has traversed the land in search of a powerful and persistent warrior, who will come to the rescue and destroy the Dragon. You have become the Wizard's Chosen One. It is up to you to attempt this perilous deed.

At the beginning of each game, the player is randomly given attributes in strength, intelligence, wisdom, dexterity, constitution, hit points, gold pieces, and armour class. Before entering the Dragon's dungeon, the player can purchase weapons, armour, food, and projectiles. Dungeons are explored from 1st person perspective, and the player does combat with enemies. The player can return to town to resupply by climbing up the starting ladder. The player can also find secret doors and open chests.
