Grub & Defend
Description
Grub & Defend are two arcade games for the VIC-20.
Defend is a Missile Command game. The player controls 5 artillery pieces at the bottom of the screen as they attempt to destroy incoming dangers. When all are destroyed, it's game over.
In Grub, the player controls a small mouth that repeatedly moves from the left to the right of the screen. Items begin to populate the screen, which includes: plums, apples, crosses, and sodas. The player can move the mouth up and down, and tries to eat apples for 10 points. Plums cost 1 point, and a cross costs a life. Soda bottles cause the level to reset. The player starts with 3 lives.
