Harlequin

Harlequin is a 2–4 player board game for the BBC Micro and Electron.

Players take turns rolling a six-sided dice to move around a square board consisting of 18 positions. At each location, the player is given a clue, and can choose one letter of the location, such as church, abbey, lighthouse, etc. Each player has a base, and if an opponent lands there, they can steal a letter. A map of the United Kingdom is shown, and the player tries to gather letters to spell the words on the map. The goal is to find the location of the hidden treasure while doing this.

Reportedly, the game contains clues to find a real treasure hidden somewhere in The United Kingdom.
