The World Travel Game

The World Travel Game is a 1–2 player puzzle game for the BBC Micro.

Each player starts with £2,000, and must travel to various cities by plane, car, train, or bus to purchase souvenirs. Available locations in each city are arranged in rows, and every hour the player rolls a 1, 2, or 3 to land on these locations. They collect money every time they pass "Go". The player can visit the travel agent to plan their next trip, or the airport, station, or rental agency to travel. Local funds must be purchased at the exchange bureau, and souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. Each city has a limited number of souvenirs that can be purchased. The goal is collect as many souvenirs as possible in a limited number of days, or to purchase more than the other human opponent.
