KatataK

KatataK is a 2D side-scrolling shooter featuring fast-paced action, stylized retro visuals, and a playful, absurd sense of humor. Set in a fictional version of London under siege by interstellar cats, players take on the role of a resistance fighter battling to save the world. In Story mode, the player leads the fight against the feline invaders, progressing through a variety of levels while teaming up with a rotating cast of mercenaries. Up to two allies can join the protagonist at any time, each with unique abilities and weapons.

The game also includes a Survival mode where players face endless waves of enemies, unlocking new characters and weapons as they progress. The game offers a range of unlockable content, including 11 playable characters, numerous power-ups, and a variety of over-the-top weapons. Gameplay includes boss battles and achievements, but features no in-app purchases.

The game is presented in a nostalgic 16-bit art style, with fully animated cutscenes and a chiptune-inspired soundtrack. The voice cast features well-known internet personalities and cameos from prominent YouTubers. One notable character includes a bear wielding a grenade launcher.
