Key Lingo

Description
Key Lingo is a vocabulary learning game for one to four players.
You are a word trader sailing on the Sea of Words. Your ship carries words and coconuts. Your dream is to find the Tablet of Wisdom, lost long ago on mysterious Key Lingo. Recently, one of the islands announced a ceremonial word game. Grand prize: the long-lost map to Key Lingo.
The player must sail between four separate maps, each containing a number of individually named, but randomly placed islands. Some islands sell words and others also trade words. On other islands, the inhabitants are looking for specific words to complete a sentence. If the player completes the sentence, they are paid in coconuts. There are also islands containing clues, and pirate-infested islands which steal coconuts. The player's ship can only hold 4 words at any time. The player's goal is to continue trading words until they amass 1000 coconuts, and find the island where the contest for the map to Key Lingo is being held. At which point, they progress to a fishing word game.
In the wordfish game, the player is given a sentence with a word missing. These are words that were previously seen available for trade. The player must search through a word search looking for the word, but can only see a 3 x 3 section of the letters at any time. They have a limited number of flares that increase the visible area briefly to 5 x 5. After centering on the word, the player must use their spear. The player has 4 spears, and must correctly locate at least 3 words.
After completing wordfish, the player is awarded the Map to Key Lingo, from which they find the Tablet of Wisdom.
