Description
Koisuru Otome to Shugo no Tate: Re:boot the "SHIELD-9" is a remake of the Japanese adult visual novel The Code Name is "SHIELD-9", the first game in the Koisuru Otome to Shugo no Tate series. This remake also includes the original game, making it a compilation release.
Like in the original game, the player takes control of Shuuji Kisaragi, an androgynous young bodyguard who works for a personal security organization called Aigis Security under the codename "SHIELD-9". Despite having already completed several missions for Aigis's Special VIP Protection Division, Shuuji feels that his latest assignment will be his toughest yet: to assume the role of Taeko Yamada, a female student, in order to infiltrate an all-girls' school and protect its students from danger.
The player's decisions determine how the story unfolds, including which heroines Shuuji may end up developing a closer relationship with. The heroines are the same as in the original game: the wealthy Yukino Kasugasaki, the popular Ren Tsubakihara, the energetic Yuuri Homura, the reserved Setsuko Sanada, and the mischievous Marina Shinjou.
Re:boot the "SHIELD-9" was ported to consoles a few months later. The console port, in addition to excluding the sexual content, does not include a port of the original game (The Code Name is "SHIELD-9"), and is thus documented under a separate game entry here.
