Lovesick

Lovesick is a narrative-driven virtual reality puzzle adventure that follows Sam, the bassist of the struggling band The New Agenda, after a mysterious phenomenon known as "the Feedback" traps the group in a surreal alternate reality. Each bandmate becomes imprisoned within a distorted mental landscape shaped by their personal fears, memories, and ambitions. Sam must explore these fragmented mindscapes to uncover the band’s emotional rifts and bring them back to reality.

Gameplay centers on exploration and environmental puzzles inspired by classic point-and-click adventures. Players use teleport-based movement to navigate rooms and surreal dreamlike spaces, manipulating objects and solving logic challenges that gradually reveal each character’s backstory. As Sam helps his bandmates, he gains psychic abilities such as extending his reach, generating shockwaves, and manipulating the speed of objects. Those skills enable access to new areas and puzzle solutions.

Each section culminates in a rhythm-based performance of the band’s titular song, "Lovesick", where players must time their inputs to the beat in a simplified musical sequence reminiscent of traditional rhythm games.
