Mars Raid

Mars Raid is an LCD game with three screens, part of the tri-screen series. It's a sci-fi space themed game where you play the role of an astronaut who has fight an evil robot civilization on Mars, starting at the bottom screen and working his way up.

• The bottom screen is the first screen, here the astronaut flies a space ship through a tunnel. Move left and right on the three lanes to avoid oncoming UFOs. Survive long enough to go to the next screen.
• In the second screen in the middle, the space ship lands and ejects a tank. Move the tanks left and right and shoot the UFO at the top through three rows of flying saucers. The rows of moving vehicles block your shots and the UFO at the top shoot back at you. Hit the space ship three times to move to the final screen.
• In the third screen at the top, the astronaut is on foot and has to defeat the main Robot headquarters. There are three doors that open and close, move left and right and throw an atomic grenade at just the right time into the open door to destroy the entire complex. After that the game restarts from the first screen at the bottom.

Each screen has its own miss counter, meaning that in the bottom screen you can hit an UFO max. three times but this is separate from getting hit three times in second screen, or missing three throws in the third screen. The game can be played either in normal mode going through all 3 screens in succession, or each of the screens can be played as an individual game. The device has a D-pad and buttons located alongside the bottom screen. The top screen can fold onto the middle screen for easy portability. There is a built-in clock and alarm function.
