Massive Chalice

You are commanding an army in a war. A war against a mysterious enemy known as the Cadence. A war that will last three hundred years over several generations.

MASSIVE CHALICE is a turn based strategy game set in a fantasy realm. As you are engaged in a long war, your soldiers will age and, eventually, die. These deaths are permanent. You must rear new soldiers to replace them, training the new soldiers as they grow. This also means you may be using less experienced soldiers in your party, at times. Because of the length of the war, your strategies must be long term, not just the next battle. You can encourage soldiers to mate and produce offspring of their line, hopefully creating a legacy of great soldiers. If a soldier fights valiantly enough and dies, their weapon will be empowered. This can then be passed on to another in their house to carry on the legacy.
