Microzine #13

Description
Microzine is an educational disk-based magazine published by Scholastic between 1983 and 1992. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issue no. 13 contains: Letter from the Editor: a look at this episode of Microzine*
- The Frog and the Fables: an adventure game where the player is transported to Fabulyon, and must help save the King of Fables who has been transformed by the wizard Oxon. The player has limited time to solve the quest as demonstrated by a constantly draining hourglass. The player must walk to a number of areas to gain the book of morals from mother bear. They can then enter the king's castle. There, they encounter 8 statues, 4 of whom tell the truth and 4 of whom lie. These statues hold the key to gathering 4 fables. Upon returning to the king, if the player can correctly match 4 fables and their corresponding moral, they are victorious.
- Computer Stuff: a program to make data disks for Microzine
- The Secret of the Sphinx: a text adventure, where the player explores an ancient pyramid in search of treasure.
