NHL 96
Description
Represented by Bill Brown, NHL 96 allows the game to be played in four different modes:
- Regular season - A casual game between the home and visitor teams.
- Playoffs - An ice hockey tournament with the home team competing against fifteen other teams for the Stanley Cup trophy. The game is played continuously without any breaks. The Playoffs can be continued at any time with a password.
- Sevens - A minor variant of the New Playoffs, but uses a 4-win rule to progress.
- Shootouts - Plays the game from the perspective of the goalkeeper.
The player can also configure the rules for penalties and game time, check out the league standings, and utilize a calendar for games on chosen date.
