Oilcap Pro
Description
Oilcap Pro is a single-player, shareware, mouse controlled puzzle Pipe Mania type of game.
The game area consists of an 8 x 11 grid. In one cell is the oil rig and in another there is usually a bonus section of pipe. When the game starts the player has a short time to select sections of pipe from the menu on the left and place them onto the grid. The objective being to create as long a run of pipe as possible for the oil to flow through.
Each level gives the player a target score to achieve in order to progress to the next. As the player progresses through the levels the oil flows faster and the initial pause before the oil flows becomes shorter. Higher levels have multiple oil rigs, bonus squares, sink holes - if oil flows into one of these it will emerge from another, and obstacles.
The shareware game has seven levels while the registered game has fifty, it was developed using Macromedia.
