Old Maid

Old Maid is a mouse controlled implementation of the classic children's card game. In this game the player plays against two or three AI players. The game is played with a standard fifty-two card deck from which a queen has been removed. Players take turns playing pairs of cards from their hand, if they can, after which they take a card from an opponent. Eventually all pairs are played and one player is left with the odd queen, the eponymous 'Old Maid', and they are the loser.

The game has optional sound and music and can be played in in a window or full screen. It is entirely mouse controlled. This implementation has appeared in a number of eGames compilations including Card & Board Games 3 and Deluxe Suite: Card & Board Games.
