Olive Wars!
Description
Olive Wars! is one of a package of games produced by The Code Zone. Games from this package were used, in various combinations, in around twenty different game compilation packages.
Olive Wars! is a one or two-player arcade shooter game where the object is to achieve a high score. The player, or players, control a military grade olive with three controls, move left, move right, and fire. Overhead numerous salad items scroll across the screen and the object is to shoot down as many as possible within the allotted time. The various items of vegetation score different levels of points and there are penalties for shooting down carrots.
The game is, by default, controlled via the arrow keys with the spacebar being firing the gun but the action keys can be redefined and joystick support is also available. It is played in a window which cannot be re-sized, the high score screen and in-game help screens all open in new windows which cannot be re-sized.
