Pennypede

Pennypede is a 1-player Centipede clone for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a small character that moves around freely at the bottom third of the screen, and fires vertically. Rows of centipedes stroll across the top of the screen, and move down and reverse direction when they hit an obstacle. When the centipede is shot, it breaks into smaller sections. Large spiders roam across the bottom of the screen. Every centipede hit leaves an obstacle that blocks up to four player shots before being destroyed The player starts with three lives.
