Pony Express
Description
Pony Express is a Western-themed text adventure for the BBC Micro and Electron.
The town of Death Gulch is besieged by a ruthless gang of outlaws. As they are a top Pony Express rider, the sheriff calls on the player to deliver a desperate plea for help to the commander of Fort North. The country between the town and the fort is home to a tribe of hostile Indians and it will take skill and experience to ensure that the message gets through.
The player must navigate a number of dangers including outlaws and Native tribes. The player has a limited number of turns to complete their adventure, and all commands are via VERB NOUN entry.
