Progressbar95

Description
Progressbar95 is a hypercasual game that eponomously mimics the look, feel and style of new and old Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systems with fill-to-complete tactics and arcade-like stills that can be hard to master, enhanced with a touch of nostalgia for retro technology. In a fictional universe where computers, the only thing that has ever existed, enter the digital space, where the Progressbar line of systems, along with BarOS, are released, starting with PB-DOS Shell and the first Bar System. These heavy-weighted machines, complete with mice and keyboards, eventually and slowly start to evolve as time passes by until somewhere in the year 1995.
When players first get into the game, their digital journey begins with the classic Progressbar 95, with various features, like the Begin Menu, with the options to load their last save or play a new game, viewing achievements and opening the Progress CMD, Bin, a digital pet who needs text files as their food to eat, and the media player that players can get to listen to the game's theme music in different variations. The gameplay is simple and level-based, where one can play the classic game mode by dragging their finger around the screen to move the progress bar around and catching little coloured rectangles which counts as points, known as "segments".
Occasionally, randomly appearing obstacles such as annoying pop-ups, paperclips (commonly known as Clippy), mines, dogs, and a few others can be easily avoided, otherwise they may have bad luck resulting in a blue screen of death. There are also some other game modes, including Progress Sweeper (based on the traditional Minesweeper computer games), Progresstein 3D (based on Wolfenstein 3D), Progressbar XL, and a few others. To give their computer more improved specifications, players will collect points at the end of every game to upgrade hardware and the operating system, or with Product Keys and Progress Data as currencies to spend on. In a similar fashion, a certain level milestone will unlock a specific edition to the desired system they have.
