Red Skies Over Accrington

Red Skies Over Accrington is a 1-player nuclear war-survival simulation for the BBC Micro.

The player starts in their home outside of Accrington. They can move through the local environment, and visit the nearby city to purchase food, medicine, and a fallout shelter. They can also gamble for money or take out a loan in the city. The player has a limited number of turns to prepare for nuclear war as the East and West rapidly move towards mutually-assured destruction. The player's goal is to survive the initial nuclear blast and the local environment thereafter.
