Rescue Heroes: Lava Landslide

Rescue Heroes: Lava Landslide is a 1-player arcade game for Windows and Macintosh.

Game play consists of a number of mini-games. Most minigames involve driving or walking around on a screen that scrolls in all directions, picking up fuel without running out, and gathering items. There are 2 levels of difficulty.

An emergency message has been received by the Rescue Heroes from Volcano Island, but is lost due to a malfunctioning communications satellite. First, the player controls Roger Houston's moon pod on the surface of the moon to gather parts for the satellite. In the second part the player must then put the parts back together in space by flying around in their jetpack..

After the satellite is repaired, the player receives their rescue tasks. The player controls Sandy Beach, as he drives Rock Miner to a cave entrance. There, Rock Miner travels through underground mazes to rescue lost cave divers or place power charges. The player must also navigate Seymore Wilde on a grid to gather powerups. Here, he must avoid running into rocks or the powerups that trail behind him. Powerups can also be obtained through matching games.

After successfully rescuing all cave divers and redirecting lava to the sea, the player starts a new series of arcade games. Here they control Ariel Flyer, as she navigates her helicopter to pick up rainforest animals and gather fuel balloons. Finally, the player must navigate the Aquatic Rescue Command Center to safely evacuate all waiting rescued people and animals at the docks around the island.
