Rescue Rush
Description
Rescue Rush is a location-based arcade game where real-world maps are transformed into maze-like levels. Players control a giant cat navigating city streets represented as grid-based pathways, collecting caged animals scattered throughout each stage while avoiding patrolling robotic enemies. The core objective is to free a required number of animals before being caught, with optional coins available for additional rewards.
Movement takes place across maps generated from actual geographic data. Areas become playable when physically visited or unlocked through in-game currency. Crystals serve as the primary progression resource and can be earned through objectives or purchased, allowing access to new map segments and global locations. The game includes portals that allow players to jump to different regions and explore international landmarks without physically traveling.
Progression introduces new missions, additional characters, and cosmetic customization options. A temporary power-up can be triggered to stun enemies and provide short bursts of invulnerability, supporting higher-risk play and strategic routing. An energy system limits continuous play but can be replenished through crystals.
Online features include location-specific leaderboards tied to individual streets and areas, as well as achievements and challenges.
