Rockefeller: The Black Gold
Description
Rockefeller: The Black Gold is an economic simulation. The player must search for oil, build pipelines, and refine the crude oil into various products. They can then export these or sell them on the local market. With each completed level new technologies and products are unlocked.
The game is set in Iran. The player takes on the role of a manager of the Iranian oil industry. There are 7 scenarios called "chapters" that follow the history of the oil industry in Iran starting with the development of the first oil well in the Middle East (1901) and ending in the hypothetical future of the year 2025. Also, the game has three additional scenarios set outside of the main story.
