Rolling Marbles

Game cover: Rolling Marbles

Description

Rolling Marbles is a one or two player, shareware, mouse controlled game.

In this game the player rotates groups of marbles within the game area with the aim of bringing together groups of four or six of the same colour, these marbles then disappear scoring the player points. In the single player mode the full game has fifty action levels and twenty-five logical levels.* In an action level the player starts with a blank game area which has marble generators at the top, marbles fall from these and the player must start arranging and destroying them almost immediately. If the marbles stack up and prevent the generation of new marbles for five seconds the player loses a life which will eventually end the game.

  • In a logical level the game area comes pre-populated with marbles that the player must clear, the faster the clearance the bigger the time bonus.

The full game also has fifty two-player levels which are variants of the Action game, the difference being that marbles removed from one player's screen appear on their opponents. The two player game is played over a network or internet connection

The game has five difficulty settings, music & sound, a save/load function, high score table, and an editor so player(s) can create their own games (available in the registered version only).

The MAC release makes no mention of a two player option.
