Sekiryūō

Sekiryūō is a Japanese-style adventure game adaptation of the Shōnen Jump manga of the same name that finished serialization 2 years before the game's publication, which in turn is an adaptation of the Shiji's account of the Chu-Han War. The game chronicles the titular red dragon emperor Liu Bang (Ryuhō in Japanese) from his start as a lowborn peasant until his victory over his arch nemesis Xiang Yu (Koū in Japanese) in the Battle of Gaixia. The gameplay of Sekiryūō is standard of its genre, with the only notable trait being the abundance of choices which would result in an instant game over.
