Sengoku † Koihime: Otome Kenran ☆ Sengoku Emaki is a Japanese visual novel and the first non-adult game in the Koihime series. Unlike the previous games, which took place in the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history, this instalment moves the action to the warring states period of feudal Japan. Likewise, the game features a new protagonist in the form of Kensuke Nitta, the nephew of the series' main protagonist Kazuto Hongou, who is spirited away to feudal Japan after touching a mysterious sword in Kazuto's storehouse. Finding that Japan is under siege by a race of bloodthirsty oni, Kensuke teams up with Oda Nobunaga, the fearsome leader of the Oda clan, to combat the threat.

The game features an episodic story where instead of making choices which may cause it to branch into different routes, the player simply chooses which scenario they wish to read from a selection screen.
