Shuffle Bump

Description

Shuffle Bump is an unconventional adaptation of shuffleboard. Unlike the original, the scoring zone comes in different configurations with traps. The players take turns pushing their pucks, one by one, into the scoring zone. Some squares in the zone have numbers on them. A puck that stops inside adds that number to the player's score. Of course, the opponent can knock the puck out on the next turn. Two spheres sit at the top of the screen, and when hit they disappear and add five permanent points to the player's score. The winner is the player with the biggest score, calculated at the end of the game, after all of the pucks have been used. The first to reach 100 points (or a custom limit) wins the match.

As previously mentioned, the field may be dotted by squares with different effects. Some of them like the Trap Doors make the pucks disappear, the patches of glue slow them significantly, the Booster squares accelerate them, the Randomizer shoots the pucks into a random direction, while the Fire Pit lights them on fire, and so on. There are also squares that give out a random number of points. Different other elements on the playing field can help the players win the game, such as the large Bonus Puck, that changes color based on the puck that last hit it, and the Moving Target which adds two permanent points when hit.
