Description

Singles' Night at Molly's is a set of two 1-player graphical card games for the Apple II

In Royal Flush, the player tries to make as many points as possible by placing 25 cards from a 52 card deck on a 5 x 5 square. Points are based upon poker hands, with higher scoring hands rewarding more points. Five horizontal, 5 vertical, and 2 diagonal hands are read for 12 possible point scoring opportunities. After the game, the player can choose to replay the hand, get a detailed score breakdown, or even modify card positions. Game play options allow the player to switch the location of cards at the end of the game to maximize score.

Sly Fox is a solitaire variant, where the player uses two decks of 52 playing cards. At the start of the game, 1 king and 1 ace of each suit are removed to create a foundation, with the ace foundation counting up and the king foundation playing downwards. Twenty cards are placed in a 5 x 5 grid foundation, and appropriate cards are then placed on the foundation, with new cards from the deck replacing them. In the next phase of gameplay, 20 more cards are placed on the existing 20 cards in whichever position the player pleases, and the player then tries to place these cards to build the foundation. Players take turns placing and playing cards, trying to complete all 8 foundations. The player wins if all 104 cards are placed by the time all cards from the stock are used.
