Skylighters

Skylighters is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player controls a spacecraft that can move and fire in 8 directions. Enemy spacecraft move randomly on the screen, and the player receives points for shooting them. A larger alien ship frequently travels from the left to the right of the screen in a diagonal pattern, and if this is shot, the other spacecraft temporarily become stationary, making them easier to destroy. The player receives additional points for the time they remain alive. There are 3 levels of difficulty, and the player starts with 5 lives.
