Smugglers 2

Smugglers 2 is sci-fi turn-based strategy/trading game. It is the 23rd century. Humanity has expanded to many star systems, and has established the Federation to manage its far-flung colonies. However, some of the colonists were not satisfied with the Federation's rule. These worlds, located in the furthest parts of Federation space, formed the Outer Rim Alliance and rebelled against the Federation.

You are a young ship captain who must ally with either the Federation of the Outer Rim Alliance and may eventually bring an end to the civil war. You start with a small fighter class ship, but can buy (or even capture) many larger vessels, each with its own unique features. You choose your own path to glory - be that through trading between planets and star systems, completing missions for your faction, through piracy and ultimately attacks on whole planets.

Smugglers 2 is the sequel to the first Smugglers game. It adds crew combat, large variety of missions in each solar system (like patrolling various locations, hunting down a wanted criminal or transporting a set amount of goods to certain colony) and additional star systems. All actions in the game, whether combat, traveling or trading, are turn based.
