Space Sentry

Space Sentry is a 1-player arcade game for multiple systems.

The player is in command of a space ship that can move in all directions on a scrolling background, and fires directly forward. The goal is to destroy all 20 alien vessels to progress to the next level. A direct hit is needed to destroy an alien ship. Mines pose a danger if the player approaches too close, and alien ships fire on the player. The player has limited fuel, and must recharge at refueling stations. Three radars on the bottom of the screen show mine, refueling station, and alien craft locations. The player is armed with a shield, which temporarily protects from alien fire.

The player starts with 10 ships, and gains a new one for every level completed. There are 9 skill levels which determine shield length.
