Supraworld

Description

Supraworld is a first-person Metroidvania-style puzzle-adventure game, and part of the broader “Supraverse” series. Players take on the role of an apprentice in the Solver’s Guild, venturing into a vibrant toy-like world beset by "puzzle storms," where the primary goal is to pass their guild exam by saving the princess from a nearby castle.

Gameplay emphasizes exploration through an interconnected environment that expands as players acquire new abilities and upgrades. The world encourages organic traversal rather than relying on invisible barriers - everything seen in the environment is functional and integral to the player’s path forward. A notable feature is the "detective cases" system, where players independently deduce and apprehend one of five murderers - without any guidance or confirmation from the game. Most time is spent solving puzzles, exploring hidden areas, and conducting detective work, while combat remains minimal and often puzzle-oriented.

In Supraworld, there is virtually no hand-holding, and optional gameplay paths like "out of bounds" exploration and nonlinear act structure amplify this freedom.
