The Congressional Game
Description
The Congressional Game is an educational game for secondary school and college students. The game simulates the US congress from a century ago. The educational value lies in understanding how congress and historians work. The game presents various historical facts including a Korean seizure of an American naval vessel, civil rights, import tariffs and railroad subsidies on a federal level. Players must use provided information to develop a hypothesis on the outcome of a roll-call vote. The winner of the game is the student who most accurately hypothesises the results of congressional votes.
