The Mystery of Silver Mountain

The Mystery of Silver Mountain is a type-in BASIC text adventure for multiple systems.

Clustered in small villages at the foot of Silver Mountain, the Sylvani were once a peaceful people, with the royal family keeping the legendary Stone of Destiny in the palace high on Silver Mountain. This life came to an end when a massive Grarg army invaded, seized the land, took the Stone, and murdered the queen. Now the Sylvani live as slaves under overlord Ogban and his murderous Grarg thugs. Ogban uses the power of the Stone to bring destruction on all who oppose him.

Queen Pari Sylvan left behind a baby son called Kylar. Before she died, she let Kylar know that her royal ancestors had developed certain magic objects that if combined would overcome any evil force controlling the Stone of Destiny. On becoming a young man, Kylar Sylvan set off to try and find these, but just when the Elders sensed that he was on the brink of success he was murdered. The player must now follow in Kylar's footsteps and try to retrieve the items to restore the Stone of Destiny.

All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
