Timetrek

Timetrek is a real-time Star Trek variant for the BBC Micro.

The player controls the Enterprise, as they seek out and destroy all Klingon vessels in the galaxy. The galaxy consists of a 7 x 7 quadrant map, and each quadrant is divided into 7 x 7 sectors.

The ship is armed with torpedoes and "phasors". The player has a limited number of torpedoes, but these instantly destroy a Klingon vessel. Phasors use the ship's energy, which is also used to supply shields and power hyperspace jumps between quadrants.

Long range sensors allow locating Klingons and bases in nearby quadrants. Damage control and shield control allow management of ship systems. Bases allow resupply of energy and torpedoes, but these can be destroyed by Klingon vessels.

The player has a total of 30 stardates to defeat all Klingons, and there are 20 levels of difficulty.
