Vic Trek

Vic Trek is a Star Trek variant for the VIC-20.

The player controls the U.S.S. Enterprise as it tries to rid the galaxy of Klingon vessels. The galaxy is divided into 5 x 8 quadrants each measuring 15 x 16. Interspersed within these areas are Klingon vessels, stars, planets, and bases. You as the player can use impulse or warp engines to move by providing the angle from 0 - 360 degrees and the power. The player is armed with a limited number of deadly torpedoes, and also phaser weapons which use up the overall ship energy. Hits from Klingon vessels can further reduce ship energy. Ship energy and torpedoes can be replenished at star bases. Activities cost time, and the goal is to end the Klingon menace at the lowest star date.
